Our client is a hidden secret in a rapidly emerging market - a leader in the Smart Home / Energy space and are continuing to progress with innovative ideas. They are looking to bring on board a Solutions Engineer who can fully understand their value proposition and present that to customers as a true technical authority. This is an office based role in the Cambridgeshire area.

-Product Management / Field Applications technical-commercial experience
-Ability to interact with customers at a pre-sales level and feed back to the engineering team
-Degree or equivalent in Computer science or Electronic engineering

-Act as a Pre-sales consultant to customers; supporting the sales team and understanding the customer's technical requirements
-Present demo's and trials to customers
-Understand the ecosystem and be able to sell against competition
-Provide technical input to the proposal and tender process

Open to an individual who is passionate about the Smart home, Smart Energy and IOT space who is able to apply this to connected apps and integrated solutions. You will act at the bridge between the customer, sales and engineering teams; getting involved with the customer at a pre-sales level and feeding back to internal teams. Open to a technical individual who enjoys more commercial aspects.
