Service Manager - Semiconductor Equipment

My client is a manufacturer of semiconductor instrumentation, who also have a presence in life sciences, aerospace, defence, O&G and automotive. They're currently looking for a Service Manager in Dresden who can oversee a team of 3 engineers - distributing workload; controlling the flow and quality of work; setting KPIs; analysing technical performance; and getting involved with service/ calibration/ NPI tasks.

This company are part of a larger group who grow via acquisition, so this role will likely evolve as the company diversifies in to different product areas and verticals. You will be a key part of managing operations as they roll out new value added services, such as clean room audits, and will work to targets on calibration/service values.

The successful candidate will need:

- A technical degree in electronics engineering/ mechanical engineering/ physics or similar
- Experience managing a service team (critical)
- A background working hands on with complex capital equipment in the semiconductor industry
- Fluent German and English
- To be based in Dresden

This role will operate from a lab and won't require much travel, although occasional trips to customers or training centres could arise. It could therefore be suitable for an experienced equipment manager who wants to have a large impact on a growing company, but doesn't want to live on a plane!

Apply now if you have experience overseeing a semiconductor equipment/ field service engineering team and are based in Dresden.
