My client is a well-respected manufacturer of passive and electromechanical components, with a big presence in Europe. They're currently looking for a Sales Manager in Sweden who can drive direct and distribution business across Scandinavia, encompassing the full product portfolio. This patch is worth between €7-9M so there's a lot of growth potential, especially with a dedicated sales driver at the helm.

This is a technical 'design in' sell, as opposed to catalogue volume sales, so this person will need to be technically savvy enough to engage with engineers as well as procurement.

The successful candidate will therefore need:

- A technical degree (in electronics/ electromechanical engineering or similar)
- A track record selling complex components
- Experience managing key accounts whilst simultaneously hunting for new business opportunities
- An appreciation of the differences between direct and channel sales, and how to perform well in both environments
- A home office in Sweden (near good international travel links)
- The willingness to travel frequently
- Business fluent Swedish and English
