Optical Characterisation Engineer

Based in Oxford the Optical Characterisation Engineer will be joining a company focused on near to eye waveguide technology.

The role will focus on the bring up, debug and characterisation of waveguide and module products, responsibilities will include identifying / defining the testing and metrology methods for imaging and no imaging related technology, specification and coding of measurement algorithms and software, reviewing and interpreting characterisations and hand over of test / characterisation for high volume manufacturing test.

The successful candidate will have a good relevant degree in Physics, with an understanding of the following:
* Optical Characterisation / Test
* laboratory work and in setting up of high quality and reliable optical measurement systems in a results-oriented environment
* measurement system automation at lab level including LabView and Matlab
* C/C++

This position is open to a wide range of physicists, who understand Optical requirements. The main focus for this company is someone that has a passion for new technology
