International Sales Manager - LED Components/ Lighting

My client designs and manufactures LED components and lighting systems. They're currently looking for a Sales Manager who can take control of 2 business areas: export sales in emerging markets (driving distribution sales in India, South Africa etc), and account management across the North of England.

It's therefore a combination of external sales and remote phone work, but a large level of responsibility to define how the company succeeds in business on an international level.

The candidate will need:

- An electronics/ electrical engineering background (ideally)
- A proven track record selling LED components or lighting systems
- Experience managing accounts directly and/or selling via distributors/ reps
- A home office in the North of England
- The willingness to travel

This is a company who have developed an excellent reputation, getting involved in large scale projects (eg. smart cities, home automation, street lighting, retail) globally. They've won awards for innovation and are continuing to produce quality products that are contributing towards the future of lighting.
