Digital ASIC Design Engineer - Video Processing

This is an excellent opportunity for a Digital RTL Design Engineer to join one of the world's premier companies developing advanced video processing technology. If you have a good background in VHDL or Verilog coding for ASIC or FPGA, and are keen to take your career further developing video processing cores for top of the range electronic devices, then read on.

Our client is undoubtedly one of the UK's most exciting Semiconductor companies to work for - they are instrumental in developing the technology for a vast array of consumer electronic devices. The Video team focuses on developing efficient video processing / enhancement algorithms, and as part of strong growth and investment into this team, they are recruiting for a number of Digital RTL Designers capable of taking this development forward.

The role:
Working within the ASIC team you will be responsible for VHDL specification, coding and synthesis of video algorithms, top level integration and testing, and gain experience in the formal verification phase. There's a lot of room for career growth and higher levels of responsibility, with the opportunity to mentor and lead more junior engineers as you grow with the company.

The right candidate will be:
*Degree qualified, with a University qualification in Electronic Engineering or similar
*Well versed in VHDL / Verilog coding
*Highly knowledgeable in front-end ASIC or FPGA RTL Design
*An organised, clear thinker, with a real interest in image / video processing technology
*A strong team player with good communications skills
*Enthusiastic about creating efficient complex HW designs
