My client based in the Midlands is currently seeking an Engineering Supervisor to lead a team responsible for the development and release of application software. They are major global player in the Automotive industry and you will be responsible for leading a small team spread across the UK, India and Poland. Some travel within Europe will also be required.

Working alongside Software suppliers such as DSpace, you will be expected to lead a team in the generation of software design documents to appropriate software quality (ASPICE) and ISO 26262 safety standards, review of software implementation and perform system level testing and issue resolution.

Essential skills and experience:
-Degree qualified with Electrical or Electronic Engineering background
-Diverse leadership and motivational skills
-Hands on experience of writing software requirements spec, implementing and testing
-Understanding of software/system design tools and methods such as Rhapsody UML
-C Programming to support Algo development

Advantageous skills and experience:
-Knowledge of Analogue and Digital electronic hardware
-Experience of safety critical applications
-Worked with Embedded Software
-Knowledge of Quality standards such as SPICE, ISO 26262, Six-Sigma (green belt), Autosar, SYSML
