Business Development Manager (BDM) - Power supply - North Germany

Our client a worldwide leader in electronic components distribution, recognized as one of the most respected and innovative companies in the industry is looking for a Business Development Manager (m/w) with power supply background to cover North Germany region.

In this business development role you will be responsible for the sales and marketing of power supplies and power component products offered by our client covering products such as: enclosed, open frame and external, DC-DC converters, chargers and inverters to a mixture of industries.

The prime responsibility of the Business Development Manager (BDM) is to drive success with key suppliers across EMEA. The role requires the development and execution of a business plan for specific franchises and requires a comprehensive understanding of the direction, requirements and limitations of the EMEA organisation.

Skill Requirements

-Understanding of power supply market
-Ideally educated to degree level with minimum three years relevant experience
-Fully au fait with the sales and marketing working practises of the company and the available internal resources associated with an international distributor.
-Strong credibility, able to win the "customer" and develop long term customer relationship management.
-Proactive, adaptable, organised and multi-tasking achiever.
-Able to be persistent, confident and persuasive in holding discussions
-Excellent verbal and written communicator and presenter
