Security Digital Design Engineer position based in Germany. ASIC, IP, Digital, RTL, crypto, security, Germany.

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Digital Design Engineer with one of the world's leading semiconductor companies in the Security and Identification market. With personal security at the top of everyone's agenda, this company is leading the way in solutions to make our transactions more secure.

This position is based in Northern Germany. The successful Digital Design Engineer will be a key member of a chip design team developing advanced security solutions for banking transfers, IC cards and passports. The successful Digital Design Engineer will be involved in architecture and design of crypto co-processors from initial concept, as well as validation and Verification of crypto co processors. You will be a key support to the HW development and Research teams with leading-edge security knowledge.

Required:
*Good University degree in Electrical Engineering / Computer Science / Physics or equiv.
*Several years' prior experience in Digital IC Design / Hardware background
*Solid RTL Design (VHDL) skills
*A background / knowledge in hardware security is greatly beneficial
*A self-motivated work ethic, strong team work skills
*Good communication skills in English, German would be ideal but not essential
