My client supplies semiconductor materials in to an international customer base, and they have a number of strategic key accounts that need to be developed. As such, they're looking for a Key Account Manager to be based in Munich or Dresden, to assume control of their largest revenue customer in Europe. This will entail the commercial pricing/negotiations, as well as taking care of technical and quality issues (and escalating as required).

The successful candidate will need:

- A technical scientific degree (physics, chemistry or similar)
- A background managing large corporate accounts
- A thorough understanding of the semiconductor fabrication process
- Previous experience working in a fab (in an engineering capacity)
- A home office in Munich or the ability to work from an office in Dresden
- The willingness to travel
- Business fluent German and English

This is a nice 'step up' for a Regional Sales Manager who wants to embed themselves within a dominant chip OEM, and take accountability over the development of relationships with board level executives, engineers and procurement.
