Graduate Digital Hardware Design Engineer - FPGA / ASIC, Scotland

This is an outstanding opportunity for a Graduate Digital Hardware Design Engineer to join our client; without a doubt one of the world's leading high tech companies. Our client is a highly respected multi-national company developing complex semiconductor IC's in the most advanced process technologies. They are now seeking a talented Graduate Hardware Engineer to join their Digital Design group in Edinburgh, Scotland.

In this role you work as part of an experienced team on the development of new functions for wired and wireless communication systems. This will include HDL design, modelling and verification for custom silicon blocks and soft IP cores to be included in the Xilinx Vivado software releases.

Required:

*Bachelor's / Masters degree in Electronic Engineering, or similar
*Project experience of ASIC or FPGA design using VHDL or Verilog
*Experience in any of the following would also be a plus:
-SystemVerilog and UVM for Verification
-Software development in C/C++ and Matlab
-High-speed serial interfaces
-Use of FPGA development boards
