Senior Analog/RF IC Design Engineer - Cambridge

A new and unique opportunity has arisen with a successful Semiconductor company based in the Cambridge area.

In this role the Analog/RF IC Design Engineer will be working with a small innovative design team responsible for the design of low power Analog and RF circuits whist working on the system design of the LO sub-system.

You will be responsible for the full custom architecture definition, design and layout of radio circuit sub-systems (transmitter or receiver) and will contribute to the specification and design of the top-level IC architecture and implementation. It's important that you understand the System specifications (radio standards) and convert these into block level for Analog IC design.

Industry degree qualified the successful applicant will have experience in Analog and RF IC Design of radio sub-circuits / sub-cells with experience in some or all of the following; PLLs, VCOs, PAs, Transmitter / Receivers, LO generation; RF transceiver design; ADCs are also of interest.
Experience in the design of lower power, high performance RF circuits would be an advantage.

Excellent communication skills in English are required along with the ability to show initiative.
