My client produces Automated Optical Inspection (AOI), rework and other imaging/ printing tools for the PCB assembly market. They're investing heavily in their engineering resources, and currently have an opening in the Stuttgart area for a Customer Support/ Field Service Engineer for their laser imaging/ drilling machines.

The main responsibilities will include:

- Installs
- Upgrades
- Preventative and corrective maintenance
- Tool 'health checks'

It's a travelling position, so the successful candidate will need to be happy spending time 'on the road' several days a week. They will also need:

- Experience installing, maintaining and troubleshooting assembly equipment (inspection, reflow ovens, pick and place), or high tech semiconductor/ medical tools
- Good problem solving skills
- A 'self-sufficient' nature
- A customer facing disposition

This company have been supporting electronics manufacturing for over 30 years and are experts in the assembly field. Their last quarterly results were excellent - both revenue and margin were up - and their forecast for next quarter is just under $200M.

Needless to say, they're a well established brand who are still fixated on tweaking their processes to improve customer experience and grow efficiently.

Apply now if you're a field service/ customer support engineer with experience installing, maintaining and troubleshooting PCB assembly/ semiconductor/ medical equipment.
