Principal Analog IC Design Engineer - Cambridge

An opportunity has arisen for a Principal Analog IC Design Engineer to join a global company in their new design centre based in Cambridge working on designs for cellular and connectivity applications.

In this role the Analog IC Design Engineer will be involved in the design of high performance ADCs, DACs, filters, timing circuits and general high-precision analog blocks as well as overseeing circuit architecture, layout and validation. Working closely with IC architects and digital teams you will be tasked with defining the interface between Analog and Digital blocks.

Responsibilities include the design and development of high speed ADCs, DACs, PLLs and reference circuits in CMOS technology as well as design documentation including review files and evaluation plans.

Industry degree qualified, the successful Principal Analog IC Design Engineer will have established experience from within a similar role. Experience is required in some of all of the following; high-speed high performance circuit design, High Speed ADCs, DACs, PLLs, Filters, Op amps, bandgaps. Knowledge in RF design is an advantage.
