Our client, an exciting and rapidly expanding USB chip developer is on the lookout for a Senior Digital ASIC Design Engineer to join their design centre based in Cambridge.

This is a chance to join a well-known chip developer developing truly revolutionary connectivity technology, and see your work appear in some of the world's biggest names in consumer products.

The role:

As the successful Digital ASIC Design Engineer you will be responsible for designing and implementing high performance network products. You will be responsible for all phases of the digital design process from specification, architecture, RTL design through verification, synthesis and timing closure. You will be actively involved in enhancement of device level architecture, and have a strong influence over the design direction.

The successful candidate will be an experienced and talented Front-End ASIC Design Engineer, with:

*A strong academic record, with a University degree in Computer Science / Electronic Engineering or similar
*A proven track record working as a Digital ASIC Designer, with experience of multiple successful chip development cycles

Experience in any the following would be desirable, although not essential:

*FPGA design / prototyping
*C or Assembler programming
*Network/Interface experience (USB, Ethernet, PCIe, etc.)
*PCB design
