Embedded C++ Developer

A fantastic opportunity for a smart, capable, motivated Embedded C++ developer to join the media renderer team of this world renowned developer of high end music systems, including some of the worlds most admired Audio Streaming systems.

They develop and maintain all the code used on their streaming products, which ranges from device drivers and codecs to network protocols (HTTP, UPnP, many others), to on-board UI. The vast majority of the work is in C++. Almost all code is cross-platform so most development will be on a desktop
platform of your choice.

As a small team, every engineer gets to make a big difference and see their code in shipping products, used by a highly engaged user-base.

Skills and Requirements:

* Strong C++ programmer
* Experience both using and implementing networking protocols

Any of the following would be a bonus:

* User-level experience with streaming audio
* Interest in music
* Experience in or understanding of real-time systems
* Interest in open source and/or experience with open source
* Knowledge of C# or a willingness to cross-train.
