Automotive Key Account Manager - Software - Germany

Global client is looking for a Key Account Manager with experience of selling software, embedded software or EDA products into the Automotive marketplace. This could be a home based in Germany but there is a slight preference for candidates based near Hanover or Munich. This is a mid-level position.

Your primary goal will be to manage existing accounts and new business within the Automotive marketplace. You will be responsible for the full sales cycle from initiation to closure, strengthening relationships at senior level and managing project teams with a goal of winning strategic business.

Candidates interested in this role should have the following skills:
- Proven understanding and sales track record of software engineering or EDA products into the Automotive industry
- Degree qualified in a technical degree or similar
- Ability to understand automotive hardware and software platforms
- Proven ability to identify opportunities
- Strong communication skills and ability to work in an international environment
