An excellent opportunity for an experienced Senior level Mobile Linux Security Engineer or Architect to join the Platform Security Group of a very successful, Global Mobile Electronics corporation and play a major part in defining, designing and Architecting Mobile security systems that can be used in mobile devices.

Working at Principal Engineer level, the main responsibility of the Mobile Linux Security Architect is to contribute to the development of the Security platforms and solutions used in a wide range of mobile devices.

The role, within the Security/Platform group includes taking senior technical responsibility for the tasks allocated and providing a competent level of technical authority in security and associated technology areas within the Security/Platform group.

This is a really interesting, stimulating and varied position whose key functions and responsibilities will include -

*Technical responsibility for secure sandboxing architectures such as TrustZone, Secure Micro-Kernel, and Virtualisation in Mobile products.

*Responsibility for input to security roadmap for mobile products. Perform feasibility studies, high level designs, and prototype activities typical of the incubation stages of development projects.

*Developing areas of functionality and technology towards the security requirements of Platform projects for mobile devices.

*Supporting security functionality in developments both within the organisation and in collaboration with external partners.

*Engaging directly with internal customers, 3rd party suppliers and key Open Source Software projects to guide the technology for the development of projects.

*Keeping abreast of developments with all internal mobile software platforms, understand their architecture and how to design and develop new features and applications for them.

*Working at a high level in introducing new and innovative technology to products.

Relevant skills and experience for the Mobile Linux Security Architect will include -

*A degree in Computer Science, Electronics, Science, Mathematics, Engineering or any related discipline or equivalent experience.

*Knowledge and experience of developing container / sandboxing solutions (TrustZone, Global Platform TEE, TPM, Linux Container, SE Android, Virtualisation (Xen, KVM, etc).

*Low-level Linux kernel development, porting or bring-up on new platforms.

*Proficiency in C and an understanding of C++ or Java programming languages.

*A good understanding of documentation requirements and able to able to clearly present complex ideas and technical designs.

Any additional experience in the following areas would be desirable -

*Development experience with high value security sensitive solutions like, DRM, Mobile Payment/Banking and Secure communications.

*Real time embedded software development for mobile devices with an understanding of embedded development environments.
