Our client, a British flagship Semiconductor IP company is recruiting for a SoC Synthesis Engineer to join them in the South East.

This position sits within the System-on-Chip Implementation team, which designs and implements complex SoCs for the company's internal and external customers. The SoC Synthesis Engineer will be involved in the development of the latest IP on an exciting range of challenging projects for customers ranging from major blue-chips to emerging start-ups.

The role:
As the successful candidate you will initially concentrate on the Synthesis phase of SoC projects, however you will find yourself getting more involved in Static Timing Analysis (STA) and formal verification. You will be working alongside Senior Engineers, gaining a good insight into the workings of the design and implementation flow as well as valuable exposure to low-power design. This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer looking to become a real expert in SoC Implementation.

Required:
*University degree (BSc minimum) in Computer Science / related field
*Some prior working experience of using Synopsys Design Compiler for synthesis
*Experience of Static Timing Analysis (STA)
*Scripting experience (Tcl, Perl etc) would be desirable
*Motivated work ethic and drive to deliver top notch results

Besides a competitive financial package our client offers a friendly, informal, yet high class working environment and excellent ladder for progression.
