Senior ASIC Verification Engineer - SSD - San Jose, CA
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an ambitious and talented Senior Verification Engineer to join a small, specialist team within a worldwide leader in Solid State Drive design and manufacturing in San Jose, CA.
This well established company has built on its expertise in high-speed memory to become a dominant player in the manufacturing and distribution of solid state drives (SSDs); a disruptive, game-changing technology that is replacing traditional rotating magnetic hard disk drives (HDDs). Working as part of a small team, you will be responsible for the verification of various types of SSD controllers including SATA, SAS, and PCI-E. You will work on the verification of sub modules of SSD controllers and/or full chip level in ASIC/FPGA.
This position offers the opportunity to own the verification of whole sub modules (SATA controller, Buffer Manager, DDR2/3 Memory controller, NAND flash controller, and various peripheral controllers) as well as full chip verification in SSD controllers.

The ideal candidate will have;
*5+ years of SoC verification experience, or specific SSD verification experience
*Familiarity with Verilog/C co-simulation methodology, random and directed test bench building
*Hands on experience in C/C++, Verilog, SystemC , OVM/UVM - systemVerilog experience is advantageous
*Experience with PLI/VPI, SoC verification such as DDR2/3 controller, SATA controller and NAND flash controller
*Good SoC architecture knowledge including ARM, AMBA.
