My client is offering opportunities to join their design engineering team. They encourage their engineers to use their creative and engineering skills in order to develop products that meet their ambitious technical, cost and time requirements. My client is looking for innovative, passionate and determined graduate engineers to help develop new "best in class" cutting edge products, in addition to maintaining a catalogue of existing established products.

This graduate position will be fully supported by a training program. A mentor will be assigned to the graduate and provide guidance while the graduate works towards taking on the responsibilities and accountabilities listed below:

Produce and maintain BOMs for products and sub-assemblies.
Employ a holistic approach to product design and development.
Apply innovative and creating thinking to support all aspects of new product creation.
Promote the use of configuration control and design excellence within the engineering team.
Produce and maintain technical literature such as Product specs and manuals.
Maintain product documentation and databases in order to service all customers, internal or external.
Produce wiring diagrams, shelf schematic circuits and General Assembly instructions for product build packs.

You will have:

Minimum 2:1 degree in a relevant engineering or science subject from a top 20 University
Understanding of practical and methodical design and development
Knowledge of manufacturing processes and materials
Sound knowledge and understanding of basic physical principles.
