Electronics Design Engineer - Analogue/Power - Leeds, North UK

Working for a successful company, this is the opportunity for an Electronics Design Engineer to join the team and specialise in compact, GaN-based solid-state power amplifiers (SSPA) for defence and communications applications.

This is state-of-the-art technology, offering power performance couples with a power-to-volume ratio which is one of the highest in the industry for such products!

Working with an established design team, the successful candidate will be degree educated in electronics engineers or equivalent, have at least 2 year's working experience in a commercial electronics technology environment with the following key skills:

*2+ years in electronics engineering
*Good working knowledge of electronic circuits
*Analogue circuits
*Power Transistors
*Control Logic
*Application of automated design rules and DFM requirements
*PCB CAD knowledge
*Design documentation, schematics, PCB layouts, component lists, test instructions

A Hands-on attitude, accuracy, strong communication skills and conscientiousness, initiative and motivation will be essential to success!
