Business Development Director (EMEA) - LED/lighting - Germany
My client manufacturers power products for the LED/lighting market, and they're currently looking for a Business Development Director based in Germany.

This is a home based role which will focus on gaining new business with lighting manufacturers across EMEA, so the successful candidate will already have a good network of contacts in this market, as well as a solid understanding of relevant applications and technologies.

Aside from the market development activities you will also be tasked with driving the performance of the existing commercial team, and hiring for additional heads. This expansion is high priority and will be one of the first challenges to complete.

To summarise, my client is looking for someone with the following:

- 5 to 10 years of business development experience

- A strong network in the LED/lighting market

- A good understanding of lighting applications and power products

- Experience hiring or managing a team (as a preference)

- Business fluent German and English

- This willingness to travel extensively within EMEA

This is an excellent time to be joining this company, as their forecasts show an impressive rate of anticipated growth - hence the requirement to expand the team in Europe. Reporting directly in to the CEO, you will be a key decision maker and have the autonomy to directly affect change and, ultimately, growth.
