This is a fantastic chance for a Digital ASIC Design Engineer to join a highly reputed Semiconductor firm based in Cambridge.
In a world of rising energy costs and concern about our carbon footprint, power consumption is an important issue for electronic manufacturers. In response to this, our client has developed a compelling new power consumption solution, and has subsequently earned the title of one of Europe's top three emerging Semiconductor companies. They now offer a number of opportunities for Digital Design Engineers to join their IC Design team and work on the entire design flow of digital control circuits for their latest products.
Multiple vacancies exist at varying levels, from 1-2 years' experience. Candidates must have the following:
*A good University degree in Electronic Engineering or similar
*A proven background in Digital ASIC Design, with a solid, in-depth understanding of digital theory and the full design cycle
*Hands-on experience using Verilog HDL
*Knowledge of design for FPGA would be ideal
*Experience of designing digital blocks for small consumer application ICs would be ideal for this position
*An exceptional work ethic, plenty of spark and strong communication skills
