A Mechanical Product Design Engineer to be based in Swindon is required, this person will apply their own initiative and problem solving skills relating to new product concepts. You will drive product design that meet all performance and functional criteria, working with research teams to implement research into the final design.
This role requires a hands on approach to engineering problems can be resolved, as such previous relevant experience of product design or mechanical engineering is necessary. The successful person will have a degree in an engineering or science discipline and a creative, considered approach to problem solving. Experience with 2D and 3D CAD packages will be needed to accompany both technical and personal credibility. You should have knowledge and understanding of injection moulding and manufacturing, and basic physical principles.
An ability to travel to the Far East would be desirable.
