Based in Bristol the Applications Hardware Engineer, will be responsible for Hardware design to support Optical Transceiver products to facilitate high speed data transmission working at rates in excess of 10Gbps. Other responsibilities will include: The design of Application kits, Schematic capture and High Speed PCB Design, Fault finding and providing direct customer support.
The successful candidate will have a good relevant degree with good knowledge of digital and analogue design, with some knowledge of Microelectronics, Wireless or Optical Communications. Other skills of interest include: PCB Design, Signal Integrity and Test.
