Job Title: Senior Design Engineer

Location: Hampshire

Salary : 45-55k + Benefits

An opportunity for an experienced Electronics Designer to Join a world leader in Power Supply Design. With superb prospects and career development. You will have strong experience and understanding of leading-edge power conversion techniques preferred. The successful applicant will join a small in-house design team. Reporting to the Technical Director the R+D team are tasked with the development of new and Existing products

Ideally the Candidate will have the following skills.
Resonant conversion
Planar magnetics
Power Factor Correction
Synchronous Rectification
Control loop design inc Average Current Mode
EMC filter design
Digital circuits for BITE, Communications and Control
PCB layout design
Experience of formal EMC & Environmental Qualification Testing.
Knowledge of the safety compliance requirements for CE marking
Stress analysis and reliability calculation.
Generation of test plans and design reports
Generation of technical data packs and attendance of design reviews
Proficient in Circuit Simulation, Word, Excel and Power Point
Some experience of Zuken (CADSTAR) PCB design and Solidworks 3D Modelling
Specification of special to type test equipment (STTE)
Commercially aware, with good communication and interpersonal skills and able to interface with the customer at a high technical level.
