Our client is a highly successful Analog/Mixed Signal IC Design company who currently have a unique opportunity for an experienced CAD Support Engineer to join an established team at their design centre in Southern Germany.
In this role you will be responsible for providing a high standard of technical support in the use of PDKs and CAD related tools for the Analog/Mixed Signal IC Design teams working in a Cadence Analog design environment using simulators like Virtuoso and Spectre. You will be contributing to the development and maintenance of PDKs, maintaining accurate documentation, maintaining a positive relationship with external and internal contacts and keeping up to date with new technologies.
Industry degree qualified (or equivalent) the successful CAD Support Engineer will have established experience in a similar CAD related position and in experience within a Cadence Analog design environment using Cadence and Synopsys tools such as Virtuoso, Spectre and HSpice. A deep understanding of device models for industry standard Analog simulators is essential.
The successful CAD Support Engineer will have excellent communication skills in English, work well in a team and have the ability to set goals and meet deadlines. German language skills are ideal.
