A Senior Software Engineer with experience programming in C/Ada is required for the Hampshire area on a permanent basis. The role is commutable from the likes of Fareham, Southampton, Portsmouth, Eastleigh, Bournemouth, Salisbury, Chichester, Hants, Dorset, West Sussex, M27, M3, A3, and South Coast).

The company work within the aerospace and defence sectors developing electronics and sensor based systems used in the flight deck of aeroplanes. As Senior Software Engineer you'll be responsible for developing software in C and Ada in a safety critical environment.

To be considered for the role of Senior Software Engineer you will be expected to have a proven track record of developing software covering the full development lifecycle in a safety critical environment (preferably DO178B or similar)

The business work at an international level with both commercial and defence customers. As such the successful Senior Software Engineer may be expected to travel overseas (a small handful of times per year) to the likes of the USA and Europe. They will also need to be able to obtain the required security clearance to work on ITAR projects.
