An Embedded Software Engineer is required due to continued growth and development for an established defence company in the Dorset area on a permanent basis. The company innovative in their approach are looking for engineers who can drive design and development forward. The role is commutable from the likes of Southampton, Bournemouth, Christchurch, Salisbury, M27, A37 etc.

The Company work within the defence sector developing advanced electronics products. As Embedded Software Engineer you'll be responsible for embedded electronic and software design programming in Embedded C for PIC Microcontrollers. You'll have worked with both analogue and digital design including basic circuits and FPGA's. Experience in LED Lighting and RF would also of benefit.




To be considered for the role of Embedded Software Engineer you'll be qualified to degree level (or equivalent) and will have a proven track record of developing software/electronics to a high standard.

Embedded C
Microcontrollers (PIC, ARM, ATMEL, 8051)
Analogue/Digital Design

The business work at an international level, with both commercial and defence customers. As such the successful Embedded Software Engineer may be expected to travel overseas (a small handful of times per year) to the likes of the USA and Europe. They will also need to be able to obtain the required security clearance to work within the defence Space.
