This is a superb opportunity for a Digital ASIC Design Engineer to join one of the biggest names in electronics.

Our client, a household name in wireless communications, is offering a rare (and exceptional!) opportunity for a junior Digital ASIC Design Engineer to join their team in Cambridge. In this role you will work within a small group of highly experienced ASIC Design specialists and be responsible for digital chip verification and design under the mentorship for a senior engineer. As you gain experience you will work on all areas of the ASIC chip flow and to become a real digital design expert.

*An excellent academic background; BSc/MSc degree in Electronic Engineering or similar
*Strong knowledge of Digital IC Design and Verification concepts, with relevant project experience (academic or industrial)
*Hands-on experience in Verilog/VHDL (SystemVerilog would be a bonus)
*Experience using simulation and synthesis tools
*Excellent communication and team work skills
