Purchasing Planner - Instrumentation
My client is looking for a Purchasing Planner to implement procurement procedures and reduce costs. The role is based in Oxfordshire.
Requirements:
*Strong skills in Planning, Supply Chain, Procurement, Buying, Logistics, New Product Introduction
*Previous purchasing experience from Semiconductor/ Instrumentation/ Lasers/ Defence/ Equipment markets
*Experience of implementing procedures and managing sourcing operations
*Ability to reduce costs via effective planning and negotiating with suppliers
*Sound knowledge of MRP/ ERP
Responsibilities:
*Establish effective Procurement procedures
*Manage New Product Introduction and Logistics
*Negotiate with current and new Suppliers
*Forecast all sourcing within the given budget
*Support Commercial team to understand customer requirements
