Based in Cambridge, the Senior Hardware Design Engineer will join a large blue chip organisation and be responsible for Digital Design and PCB Design on a range of Wireless products.
Main responsibilities will include:
- technically leading projects and designs ensuring supporting services deliver on time, to specification and to the required quality standards
- working with customers to generate technical requirements specifications and to run feasibility studies prior to the commencement of projects
- developing schematics and PCB layouts to a high standard with supporting firmware.
The successful applicant will have a proven background in hardware design, particularly high speed digital design, PCB Design, Test / ATE, Memory design and PCi/PCi Express
Other skills of interest include scripting, embedded design and analogue design
