HR Manager - Germany

This is a generalist HR Manager position with responsibility for all employees across Germany. As this is a global company, it is essential that you are fluent in German and English. Other European languages would be advantageous. Thorough knowledge of German employment legislation is essential.
Main functions of the role include:
1. Recruitment - selection and management of vendors, candidate attraction methodology, facilitation of the selection process, provide Snr European HR Manager with a monthly report on all recruitment activity, and market trends for the region.
2. Responsibility for issuing all new hire documentation, ensuring that employee contracts for each region are updated and compliant with the prevailing German legislation.
3. Compensation and Benefits - provide guidance on the positioning of offers in line with Company reward strategy, administration of benefits for local German employees, research market conditions and in collaboration with the European Compensation and Benefits Manager, negotiate renewal of schemes, ensure the timely submission of payroll data for the processing of monthly German payroll
4. Day-to-day HR management
5. Any other project work as required by the Snr European HR Manager.
