An exciting opportunity has arisen with a leading Semiconductor company for a Senior Applications Engineer in the North, as a result of growth and continued improvement. You will join the research and development (R&D) team to work on discreet components.

Your responsibilities will include solving complex technical problems on new/existing products, assist internal sales team to generate new business in application areas, assist in datasheet generation, provide technical guidance on the whole to internal members where required, conduct occasional visits to customers/suppliers as well as project manage.

To be within a strong chance for consideration, you will have:
- Degree or equivalent in Science / Engineering discipline (or HNC + 2 years industry experience within R&D / application engineering).
- Working knowledge of Power Electronics / Power Semiconductor or related field
- Project Management experience and;
- Strong market knowledge of Power Semiconductor devices (HVDC, Renewable, Aerospace and Automotive).
