Responsibilities and duties will include: Designing and developing power electronic products, frequency converters in the MW range, AC-DC, DC-DC converters, offering a complete solution to the end customer, working alongside the various in-house teams and providing guidance to junior team members whilst ensuring the frequency converters designed are efficient and the most compact in the market. The ideal candidate will be educated to degree level (or further) in Electrical/Electronic Engineering (or related field) and have a proven track record in the area of Power Electronics, thermal design, motor controls, AC-DC, frequency converter, high power design/development, medium voltage converters and IGBT. Exposure to low power will also be considered but a willingness to take up a challenge in designing for high power application will be required.
