LED Systems Specialist - LED / Lighting / Power Electronics
Working for a world-class Semiconductor company (Germany based) in the field of Systems Power Management, the LED systems specialist will be joining an expanding and exciting company as they continue to grow further afield. They seek a Senior LED Systems Specialist to join their team of Power Management Engineers in Southern Germany - LED Control, LED, lamps, Hardware, Analog, Power Electronics, SMPS, Application Engineer.
This role will involve creating and optimising novel IC systems and solutions for LED products, new product specifications using hardware / software prototyping techniques, working with strategic partners in LED retrofit lamps to prepare roll out of new digitally controlled LED ICs, develop and optimise reference designs and supporting the various internal teams. There will also be monitoring of LED technology involved as well as the creation of product and marketing collateral.
The successful candidate will have the following attributes:
*Good degree in Electrical / Electronics Engineering or comparable
*Strong passion for Lighting and an in-depth knowledge of LED and its operations
*Proven background in Power Electronics fundamentals
*Good knowledge in System Analysis and related modeling / simulation tools
*Demonstrable background in industrial experience of Lighting / off line Power Electronics
