I am currently recruiting for an Embedded Engineer to work for a client of mine based in Essex. Salary is dependant upon the level of experience you obtain but is very competitive and can be disclosed upon application.
You will be working in a multi-disciplined Industrial R&D team developing High Speed Video cameras.
Working with the Windows Embedded & Embedded Linux operating systems, the role will involve development in all phases of the software lifecycle, including analysis, coding, testing and maintenance. Duties will include responsibility for the middle & upper levels of the software, including the Graphical User Interface, and the software system architecture.
The successful candidate should have experience in :
- Embedded C or C++,
- Experience of real-time operating systems.
- Previous experience of embedded software development and Windows programming is essential.
- Experience with Qt and Linux is desirable.
- Knowledge of video signal processing would be advantageous.
