The Background…

A Leading Engineering company based in Leicestershire is looking to strengthen the team with an Electronics Engineer who will apply Electrical & Electronic Engineering Design and Prototype build skills. The company are highly specialised and work with leading companies in the aerospace, automotive and power industries.

The Role…

As an Electronics Engineer, you'll have responsibility for understanding resource requirements, risk and technical quality to ensure delivery of effective solutions to problems and will operate change management during engineering drawing updates, to ensure that configuration control is maintained, and best practice/lessons learned are shared effectively amongst peers.
You'll work with internal managers and external customers to deliver acceptable designs and solutions and will understand any standard tests and acceptance criteria for stacks, systems and key components relevant to the design, to ensure effective programme / customer delivery.
You'll apply safe and reliable design to products and systems with particular interest in electrical safety and EMC.


You'll have proven experience in a similar Electronics / Electrical Engineering position and will ideally be educated to Degree level or equivalent in an Electrical / Electronic related discipline.
You'll have experience with one or more of the following; Electrical panel design/assembly, Electronic and electrical prototyping/assembly, PCB design/assembly, Testing and commissioning or Fault finding at PCB and system level.
Along with the above you'll also have experience in one or more of the following; Power electronics, Wiring harness, Working at voltages up to 600V, Automotive electrics, Electric vehicle power-train, PAT testing/electrical safety, Programmable Logic, Controllers (PLCs), EMC, Electrical product safety, Microprocessors, Circuit simulation or Mechanical and electro-mechanical knowledge.
You'll be competent with Microsoft Office.
