My client is a long established, UK company, a world-leader in wireless communications products, and have recently opened a new office in the Bristol area.
Key to the success of this offcie, they are looking for a group Leader for their Digital IC Design team, to grow and lead their development activity.. It is anticipated this team will have a "start-up" look and feel, within the structure of a financial strong company.
They are looking for a strong candidate, with previous experience leading a small ASIC design group, having responsibility for projects and people, but still being "hands-on" capable in an ASIC design program; having working knowledge of design, verification and implementation activities. A good knowledge of wireless commmunication technologies, such as WLAN, Bluetooth, etc is desirable.
