A leading Oil & Gas company in South Wales is looking for a new Electronics Design Engineer to join their growing R&D team, working on a new arm of their product range. They are looking for an enthusiastic engineer who can contribute substantially to the design and development of their downhole and borehole technologies.

The role…

The role of Electronics Design Engineer offers a great opportunity to work on new and innovative products used in the very successful Oil & Gas market. This is a new role for the business and will be working on full lifecycle product design. The role reports directly to the Development Manager, but joins a warm and friendly team.


In this role, you'll be responsible for interpreting customer requirements into clever and practical designs. You'll need to be able to take an idea from initial concept all the way through to manufacture. This role will involve a number of complex project engineering responsibilities but will give you the rewards you need in your career.

Electronics Design Engineer Technical Skills:

*Digital Electronics Design
*DSP Processors - ideally media processors
*FPGA/VHDL design
*PCB Design & Layout
*Embedded programming - C/VHDL
