Our client, a world leading Silicon IP company, is seeking a talented Digital Design Engineer to join their Belfast design centre. This team has unparalleled expertise in developing DSP cores and platform IP for wireless, networking and multimedia applications.

To successful candidate will be a talented, mid-level Design Engineer, with a strong background developing Verilog-based design and simulation either for ASIC or FPGA. Essential requirements include:

*Expert knowledge of digital block design
*Familiarity with FPGA CAD tools and experience of Altera or Xilinx design environments
*Experience of block and system level verification and test suites
*Strong knowledge of simulation CAD tools, such as ModelSim / NC-Verilog

Any experience in the following would be a plus:
*Embedded processor design and bus protocols (such as AXI)
*Communication standards (e.g. SATA / PCie / Bluetooth)
