Our client is a world leading Silicon IP company with key expertise in DSP technology. They lead the Semiconductor industry in the fields of HD video, audio, and wireless connectivity, and now seek a talented Digital Design Engineer to join their specialist design team based in Cork.

To successful candidate will be a talented, mid-level Design Engineer, with a strong background developing Verilog-based design and simulation either for ASIC or FPGA. Essential requirements include:

*Expert knowledge of digital block design
*Familiarity with FPGA CAD tools and experience of Altera or Xilinx design environments
*Experience of block and system level verification and test suites
*Strong knowledge of simulation CAD tools, such as ModelSim / NC-Verilog

Any experience in the following would be a plus:
*Embedded processor design and bus protocols (such as AXI)
*Communication standards (e.g. SATA / PCie / Bluetooth)
