A Verification Engineer with excellent complex verification skills (System C, systemVerilog) is sought for a challenging and varied role involving the verification of complex digital functions on high-performance digital devices, using the full range of available verification methodologies for an elite wireless semiconductor company developing high-performance digital devices in Bristol.
Opportunities exist for engineers at various levels of experience.
Multi-skilled individuals are highly valued within the team, but there are also opportunities for specialization in many areas. Whilst experience in specific areas of technology is important, my client is looking for individuals with varying levels of experience.
The ideal candidate will:
*Have experience of advanced functional verification of complex digital chips, as well as experience of architecture and specification of systems-in-silicon and hardware-software interaction in silicon systems, including the behaviour of programming and debug tools, drivers and RTOS.
*Have experience of ABV techniques, pragmatic verification by constrained random simulation and coverage measurement, and programming experience in Verilog, SystemVerilog, SystemC, PSL and SVA.
*Experience with Processors, Cache memory sub-systems, System interconnects, Complex SoC, DMA controllers, Off-chip memory interfaces, High speed serial interfaces and Multi-voltage and multi-clock domain circuits is desirable.
This role will involve interfacing closely with silicon specification authors and logical designers, so good communication skills and team working abilities are essential to this role, as well as the desire to push the boundaries of verification throughout the company.
Candidates must be eligible to work in the UK.
