We are recruiting for a leading design centre involved in high-speed processor design, new IP core creation and integration of the worlds leading IP. As part of exciting expansion plans they seek a Senior Physical Design Engineer to join them in Bristol.
This role will involve working on leading edge designs for digital subscriber line and video chipsets. The Senior Physical Designer will own all aspects of IC core implementation, including P&R, clocking, chip-level integration, logical and physical synthesis, cross talk and signal integrity analysis etc. There will also be scope to extend your experience into front-end RTL design work.
Required:
*Excellent academic qualifications
*P&R (Place & Route)
*STA (Static Timing Analysis)
*Clock-tree generation
*Power grid and power analysis
*A Good understanding of gate-level and transistor level design
*Eligibility to work in the UK
