My client based in Cambridge is looking for an Embedded Software Engineer from a strong networking background. They are looking for an experienced engineer, someone who could potentially work with customers.
You will be working on adding new functionality to their existing product through the entire software lifecycle so an Engineer with significant product development experience will be a real plus.
Skills and Experience
Strong C++ development experience is essential
Programming experience with Linux, ideally Embedded Linux
Knowledge of Linux Kernel and Device Drivers would be highly beneficial
Internet protocols (TCP, UDP, SNMP)
Background in Network Applications
