A Digital Design Engineer sought to join an established Semiconductor firm in theThames Valley.

Our client, an award-winning SoC design company seeks a Digital Design Engineer to join its R&D team specialised in advanced video compression and video processing.

In this role, the digital design engineer will develop innovative video processing solutions for complex FPGA based SoC video designs. You will apply your hardware design skills to develop video processing and codec functions, and develop video algorithmic C++/SystemC transaction level models. With your knowledge of key customer applications and the future roadmap, you will also be involved in generating tool, IP and silicon requirements to drive development in other groups within the organization.

Requirements:
*An excellent academic background in Electrical Engineering (or similar field)
*An established digital design background (FPGA or ASIC)
*Strong skills in Verilog, VHDL, or SystemVerilog
*Video codec knowledge (H.264 / H.265 / MPEG / HEVC)
*Great interpersonal and teamwork skillS
*Good C/C++ skills would be definite bonus
