Superb opportunity for an Embedded Software Engineer / Firmware Engineer to join this leading organization based on the west coast of Ireland developing the next generation of software that will be used in chipsets and processors. You will be responsible for authoring BIOS and Boot loader specifications, for developing C based embedded software and for the development of embedded firmware.

You will have great technical qualifications with in depth knowledge of embedded software and firmware development with some exposure to device driver and BIOS core development. Great knowledge of bus protocols such as PCI- Express, DDR2, USB and CPU will be a benefit as will some exposure to Bash or Python. Great C and / or C++ knowledge is required.

The successful candidates will enjoy and excellent basic salary, bonus, full benefits package including relocation where needed.
