Are you an experience Field Service Engineer in the Semiconductor industry? Are you ready to take responsibility for a number of client sites in Germany, as a field engineer?
Our client is a growing semiconductor equipment company - looking to expand their operations in Germany with a dedicated field service engineer. They manufacture etch/deposition equipment and metrology tools. They are particularly looking for an engineer of a deposition background.
The successful candidate will be required to:
Take ownership of their given toolset; providing maintenance, training, installation support and more. Primarily on deposition and etch equipment
Ensure the highest level of service at the client's customer site.
Be able to travel anywhere in Germany, occasionally France - at short notice.
Be able to adapt to an environment of different needs and cultures at customer locations.
The ideal candidate will have the following:
A strong semiconductor field service background, preferably on Deposition / etch systems or related technologies.
Process knowledge of semiconductor diffusion furnace equipment would be a bonus
A maintenance background on metrology systems, on top of your deposition background, would be advantageous.
Understanding of all safety measures and requirements when working on vacuum equipment
Previous experience as a field service engineer, as well as travelling extensively is advantageous.
Fluent English and German speak is a must
HND in Physics / engineering, similar or better.
