Due to growth an Embedded Software Engineer is required on a permanent basis for a world leading design and manufacturing company based in the Bath area of Wiltshire. As Embedded Software Engineer you'll have skills in C programming and have worked in a Linux environment.
As Embedded Software Engineer you'll join the company's research and development team working on new instrumentation design and development. You'll be working on embedded software development covering the full product lifecycle. You'll have experience of Embedded C programming and will have worked with Linux. You will have also worked with PIC microcontrollers and be happy to work closely with the hardware team.
To be considered for the post of Embedded Software Engineer you will be expected to be degree qualified (or equivalent) in an Electronics, Physics, Computer Science or similar relevant area. This should be coupled with the ability to demonstrate in-depth professional experience of Software development projects in Embedded C.
